Affiliate Disclaimer

Introduction

SleeperSofaPro ("we," "our," or "us") believes in full transparency regarding how we fund our website and create content. This Affiliate Disclaimer explains our participation in affiliate marketing programs and how this may affect your experience on www.sleepersofapro.com (the "Site").

By using the Site, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Affiliate Disclaimer. If you have any questions, please reach out through our Contact Us page.

1. What Are Affiliate Links?

Affiliate links are special URLs that contain a unique tracking identifier. When you click on an affiliate link and make a purchase, the retailer pays a small commission to the referring website (in this case, SleeperSofaPro). This is a common and widely accepted way for content websites to generate revenue without charging readers directly.

Affiliate links do not change the price you pay. You pay the same amount whether you purchase through an affiliate link or by visiting the retailer's website directly.

2. How Our Affiliate Links Work

When you click on an affiliate link on SleeperSofaPro, a small cookie or tracking parameter is placed in your browser. If you complete a qualifying purchase within a specified timeframe (which varies by retailer), the retailer records the sale as originating from our Site and pays us a commission.

This process is entirely automated and managed by the retailer's affiliate network. We do not see your personal payment details, and we do not receive any information about what you purchased beyond the general product category and commission amount.

3. Affiliate Programs We Participate In

SleeperSofaPro participates in the following affiliate marketing programs:

• Amazon Services LLC Associates Program: As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases made through Amazon affiliate links on our Site.
• Other Furniture & Home Retailers: We may also participate in affiliate programs offered by other reputable furniture and home goods retailers. These programs operate on similar terms and are governed by their respective affiliate agreements.

We only partner with retailers that we believe offer quality products and reliable customer service. However, we cannot guarantee the performance, safety, or satisfaction of any product purchased through an affiliate link. Please review our Disclaimer for more information about product limitations.

4. No Additional Cost to You

One of the most important things to understand about affiliate links is that they do not cost you anything extra. The commission we earn is paid by the retailer out of their own marketing budget, not added to your purchase price.

In many cases, you may actually benefit from purchasing through our links because:

• You are supporting a free resource that provides independent, research-based content.
• You may gain access to exclusive deals, discounts, or bundles offered through affiliate partnerships.
• You help us continue to produce high-quality guides, reviews, and comparisons.

5. Editorial Independence

Our editorial content is completely independent of our affiliate relationships. This means:

• No Paid Reviews: We do not accept payment in exchange for positive reviews or favorable coverage. Our recommendations are based on research, user feedback, and editorial judgment.
• Honest Assessments: We highlight both the strengths and weaknesses of products. If a product has drawbacks, we tell you about them.
• No Brand Bias: We do not favor one brand over another simply because they offer higher commissions. Our goal is to help you find the right product for your needs.
• Content First: Our content is created to serve readers, not to maximize affiliate revenue. We would rather lose a commission than compromise our integrity.

6. How to Identify Affiliate Links

We strive to make affiliate links clear and transparent. Here is how you can identify them:

• Disclosure Notices: Pages containing affiliate links include a disclosure notice near the top of the page or before the product recommendations.
• Button Labels: Affiliate buttons may be labeled with phrases such as "Check Price on Amazon," "View on Retailer," or "Buy Now."
• URL Parameters: Affiliate links often contain tracking parameters (e.g., "tag=", "aff=", or "ref=") in the URL. You can view these by hovering over the link before clicking.

7. FTC Compliance

SleeperSofaPro is committed to complying with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidelines regarding endorsements and testimonials in advertising. In accordance with these guidelines, we:

• Clearly disclose our affiliate relationships whenever we recommend or link to a product.
• Provide this Affiliate Disclaimer as a standalone page for full transparency.
• Ensure that our disclosures are clear, conspicuous, and placed before any affiliate links.
• Never misrepresent our relationship with any retailer, brand, or manufacturer.

If you believe any part of our content does not comply with FTC guidelines, please let us know through our Contact Us page so we can address it promptly.

8. Your Choices

You are never obligated to use our affiliate links. You can always:

• Visit the retailer's website directly and search for the product yourself.
• Use a browser extension or privacy tool that blocks affiliate tracking.
• Clear cookies after visiting our Site to prevent affiliate tracking from persisting.

However, we kindly ask that if you find our content helpful, you consider using our affiliate links. It is a simple way to support our work at no extra cost to you.
